Coldhub to provide free internet services to local farmers, Powered by Microsoft Airband Grant.

Nigerian AgriTech Startup, ColdHubs, was selected as one of the eight Microsoft Airband Grant Fund recipients for the year 2018: finding innovative ways to tackle the broadband access challenge.

ColdHubs which Based in Owerri aims at empowering small scale farmers with the ability to earn better livelihoods through its solar-powered crop storage facilities which help to reduce food spoilage, With the integration of Microsoft’s Airband Grant, these refrigerated crop storage rooms would be used as Wi-Fi hotspots which will provide the local farmers free internet service to access agricultural training, resources which in turn will improve crop yields, marketing and digital skills training.

Coldhub who were finalist by the Refrigeration and Cooling magazine (RAC) for the International Achievement Award, is a leading cooling industry which is recognized for it’s environmental achievements and its commitment to innovation.
